This policy describes how the current REVYN iOS app handles information you enter. REVYN is developed by Nathan Burgess.
Information you choose to save
REVYN stores your vehicle details, registration information, readings, service history, schedules, modifications, expenses, notes, photos and documents. The garage is saved locally so you can record changes offline.
Private iCloud storage
When iCloud is available, REVYN syncs your garage through Apple’s private CloudKit database using the iCloud account configured in device Settings. The current app does not send your garage to a separate REVYN server or database. Apple operates iCloud under its own service terms and privacy policy.
REVYN currently shares a CloudKit container with the developer’s HondoSideload app. REVYN queries its own record types and zone, but zones do not create an access boundary between apps entitled to that shared container.
Optional Apple sign-in
Sign in with Apple saves your Apple-provided identifier and, when supplied, display name securely in this device’s Keychain. REVYN does not save your Apple password. This identity is separate from iCloud sync. Signing out of REVYN clears its saved identity, while your local garage and iCloud storage remain.
Photos, files and permissions
You choose photos through Apple’s system picker and files through the system file picker. Imported images are resized and re-encoded. Downloaded documents remain cached for offline access. REVYN does not request location access. Files and records may contain personal information you choose to include.
Reminders
Date notifications are scheduled on your device after you enable alerts and grant notification permission. Notification permission and device preferences do not sync between devices.
Tracking and sharing
The current app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. You choose whether and where to export or share files. Recipients and destinations you select handle those copies under their own policies.
Retention and deletion
Your garage is retained until it is removed. Archiving a vehicle retains its history. Deleted documents stay recoverable in Recently deleted. Explicit permanent deletion removes the file asset and identifying document details after syncing, while retaining a minimal marker to prevent offline devices restoring deleted content. Other devices receive changes when they sync; exported copies are outside REVYN’s control.
The current app does not yet offer a complete in-app account/garage deletion flow. Sign Out is not account deletion. This policy does not claim otherwise.
This website and support
This static website is hosted by GitHub Pages. It has no analytics scripts or contact form. GitHub may process technical request information under its own privacy policy. Support messages sent to keyra@nitratehub.xyz contain the information you choose to send and are used to answer your request. Avoid sending receipts or unnecessary personal information. Technical reports posted on GitHub are public; use email for private matters.
